MCLEAN, Va., Sept. 4, 2025 – Hanwha Defense USA today announced the appointment of two executive leaders, Todd Mueller and Jessica Vanaman, who bring decades of U.S. Army acquisition and modernization experience to the company. Mueller has joined as Executive Director for Fires Capture Programs and Vanaman has been named Director for Munitions.

Mueller, who served more than 25 years in the U.S. Army, most recently managed the Army’s extended range cannon artillery program before transitioning to self-propelled howitzer modernization. His career includes service as a field artillery officer and acquisition officer across multiple Program Executive Offices.
Vanaman brings over 20 years of experience with the U.S. Department of Defense, specializing in munitions research, development, and production modernization. She most recently served as assistant project director for joint services and previously as deputy chief of staff for the Army’s Joint Program Executive Office for Armaments and Ammunition.
