K9 Mobile Howitzer
What is the lethality of the K9MH?
The K9 mobile howitzer has a high rate of fire (8-9 rounds per minute) with the proven CN98 armament.
What is the range of the K9 common gun system?
The K9 common gun system is a JBMoU 52cal 155mm tube, enabling projectiles to be fired in excess of 60 km.
What platform gives the system increased mobility?
Its 8x8 truck-agnostic platform provides increased tactical, operational, and strategic mobility options.
What are the survivability features of the vehicle?
The K9MH's armored cab protects crew during operations. Its emplacement/displacement times of under 30 seconds enables “shoot and scoot” tactics.
Does the platform have high reliability?
This platform utilizes proven, common technologies of the K9A2 self-propelled howitzer to maintain a high operational readiness rate.
How does the K9 resupply to maintain endurance?
It carries 40 rounds in its on-board magazine and is designed for rapid, automated resupply with the K10 ammunition resupply system.
Is the K9 mobile howitzer available today?
The K9 mobile howitzer is ready for delivery from the factory now to jumpstart modernization and transformation.
