Mike Smith is a tested senior executive and U.S. Navy veteran with over 20 years of growth leadership in the Aerospace and Defense (A&D) industry. His strategic insights and ability to help organizations see around corners have made him a highly sought-after director, and he has served on over a dozen joint venture and LLC boards across multiple sectors.
James is Senior Director of Business Development responsible for capture campaigns at Hanwha Defense USA with over 26 years of experience in the global defense industry. He joined Hanwha in 2015 when the Hanwha Group acquired several business units that included two defense business units from the Samsung Group.
Todd is Director of Engineering responsible for all technical activity across the entire portfolio of products at Hanwha Defense USA with over 30 years of experience in the automotive, aerospace, and defense industries. He joined Hanwha in 2021 as the Principal (Chief) Engineer on the OMFV program.
Pat is Director of Program Management, responsible for successful execution and oversight of all programs and contracts awarded to Hanwha Defense USA. He joined Hanwha in 2022 as a Sr. Program Manager in Troy, MI and has over 22 years of experience in the defense industry.
Lindsay is Director of Human Resources, responsible for all aspects of human resources. Lindsay joined Hanwha Defense USA in 2022 and has over 17 years of progressive human resources experience in defense automotive and food distribution.
Jordon is Director of Finance, responsible for leading a team assigned with a wide scope of finance and accounting-related tasks including financial reporting, operational accounting, tax and audit compliance, and financial planning and analysis, among several others.
Sam Lee has served as Hanwha Defense USA’s Finance Director, responsible for managing the company’s treasury and accounting, since 2023. He is adept in leading and developing internal teams, financial analysis business planning, budgeting and timely reporting to drive business growth.
Michelle is the International Trade and Compliance Manager, Facility Security Officer (FSO), Insider Threat Program Officer (ITPSO), and Empowered Official (EO) for Hanwha Defense USA, Inc.(HDUSA). She is responsible for managing various industrial security and regulatory trade compliance related functions.
Whitney is the Director of Contracts, Compliance and Governance. She brings wide-ranging yet defense-focused experience in business winning and industrial strategy to the Hanwha Defense team in 2021. Prior to joining HDUSA Whitney was an executive Aquabotix, following a stellar nine-year career at BAE.
